The mission of the mentoring program is to positively impact the lives of male youth by developing one-on-one relationships between boys and men that consist of focused, consistent, and quality involvement conducted over an extended period of time.

Aids and inspires high school students to think about and prepare for their next step after graduation. The program requires all students to write a five-year plan, 11th and 12th graders to work with a counselor who will evaluate their transcript, help with course selection and recommend resources transitioning them.
Men and Boys Unity

Meets one Saturday per month January – May and September – December. Various topics are discussed by guest speakers and boys get to spend time with positive male role models. A gardening component has been added to this program.

Using plots in the Fayetteville Community Garden, boys learn all aspects of gardening. They also help to maintain the common areas of the garden such as walkways. The aim is to not only teach these young men to work but have them gain appreciation for working.

To improve basic skills in each of the three subject areas through problem solving, comprehension and increased confidence. It is our goal to enable students to think more deeply and more critically.
